Our story
After buying the Slocan property in 2016 Danielle suddenly found that her dreams of one day owning a property in the country had finally come true… but then she realized that she had no idea how to garden - let alone landscaping!
She dove into learning - borrowing books from the library, spending time with local experts and finding several mentors on YouTube including Serena from Red Roof Farm, Lisa Mason Ziegler from The Gardner’s Workshop and Erin Benzekein of Floret Farm.
At the beginning of 2020 her new blooming obsession evolved further and she found she loved sharing products she was learning about with the community and the next natural step she then opened the garden centre… and the rest is history!
